About Meditrue®
Find answers to the most common questions about Meditrue®, our treatments and how online consultations work.
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. Some treatments available through Meditrue® require a prescription. As part of your online consultation, you’ll complete a short health questionnaire which is reviewed by a UK registered clinician. If treatment is suitable, a prescription can be issued and your medication arranged safely and securely.
How long does the consultation take?
The online consultation only takes a few minutes to complete. You’ll be asked a series of simple health questions so a UK registered clinician can assess your needs and recommend a suitable treatment option.
Is the consultation really online?
Yes. The consultation is completed entirely online, so there’s no need to book an appointment or visit a clinic in person. Once submitted, your information is reviewed securely by a UK registered clinician, who will assess whether treatment is appropriate for you.
Are the clinicians UK registered?
Yes. Consultations are reviewed by UK registered clinicians who are qualified to assess your health information and recommend treatment where appropriate. Their role is to make sure any treatment offered is suitable, safe, and clinically appropriate for your needs.
Are the medications approved?
Yes. Meditrue® only supplies licensed medicines that meet UK regulatory standards. Where medication is recommended, it will be an MHRA-approved treatment where applicable, supplied in line with UK healthcare and pharmacy regulations. The MHRA states that licensed medicines are assessed for safety, quality, and efficacy.
Is treatment safe for me?
Your safety is the priority. Before any treatment is recommended, you’ll complete an online health check covering your medical history, symptoms, current medication, and other relevant information. A UK registered clinician will review your answers to decide whether the treatment is suitable for you. If treatment is not appropriate, it will not be supplied.
What treatments do you offer?
Meditrue® offers a range of online treatments across common health and wellbeing needs. Availability may depend on your health profile, medical history, and the outcome of your online consultation. Once your health check is complete, a UK registered clinician will review your information and recommend suitable treatment options where appropriate.
